Seeded Patent Dossiers
These dossiers expand the seeded patent register into research-ready records. They are not the complete Steinmetz patent corpus. They are the first public control layer for patents currently listed in the intake register.
Every mature patent page must eventually include the original PDF, drawing extraction, claim transcription, checksum, and page-image references. Until then, each record below is a structured dossier, not a final legal or historical analysis.
Reading Rule
Section titled “Reading Rule”A patent tells us what apparatus or method was legally claimed. It does not automatically tell us Steinmetz’s full theoretical philosophy. Use patents as engineering evidence and compare them with books only after the overlap is source-located.

Mathematical candidate: R = sqrt(L / C) appears in the register as a surge-resistance candidate formula. The typography and context must be verified from the patent scan before canonical use.
Archive value: this is one of the most important seeded patents for the transient, lightning, surge, distributed constants, and high-frequency sections. It should eventually receive original drawing extraction and a modern circuit redraw.
